Winter running is a great activity to achieve those goals and also ensure that when spring arrives, you are ahead of game.

 

This winter running clinic will be a different format than our previous running clinics. This session we will focus more on building a strong running foundation. We will log some kilometers while enjoying fresh air and good company.  Once the snow clears, the Spring session will see the return of our previous high intensity, interval running workouts. 

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET:

  • 12 week running clinic:  February 5 to April 30, 2017

  • Education that will touch upon goal setting, running technique, footwear choices, hydration, and the basics of running program development

  • Ongoing support through our Running Clinic Facebook page

  • Runs 3 times per week:  

    • Twice per week progressive group running workouts (Tues @ 6PM, Sun @ 9am)

    • One suggested homework run per week – do it on your own or set up a run with friends

    • Will include mix of tempo and long runs, and eventually speed work (indoors or outdoors if conditions/footing permit)

 

Use this clinic to prepare for a race! Committing to a race is a great way to motivate yourself to stay on track. This session with wrap-up with an optional race (registration not included)

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

  • Free for CrossFit Leduc unlimited members 

    (current all access membership required)
  • Non-members, first time free, then drop-in fee of $10
  • Clinic may be cancelled if minimum number of registrants is not met.
